"L'IA n'est qu'un outils" pourrait peut-être être valable si on était pas dans une économie capitaliste de l'attention.

Elle industrialise la médiocrité, elle rend le taf moins intéressant (appuyer sur entrée 800 fois par jour c'est pas ouf), elle vire des gens, elle demande de choisir entre réchauffement climatique et elle. https://www.politico.eu/article/europe-choose-ai-climate-goals-data-center-chief-warns/ Je l'utilise toute la journée, on arrive à faire des trucs biens. Mais j'en souffre, psychologiquement et physiquement. Si on pouvait ralentir un peu ça m'arrangerait.

Hier j'ai testé une nouvelle appli de GPS pour Andoid.
ça m'a mis assez mal à l'aise, comme si les développeurs de l'appli n'avaient fait aucun choix, aucun autre choix que de copier le plus Waze. Tout est bancal dans l'appli.
Quelqu'un m'a appris plus tard que c'était vibe-codé.
Oui effectivement je ne l'aurais pas deviné... mais les résultats sont là.
Les conséquences de l'IA vont être très concrètes dans toute la société, et pas que dans le développement logiciel.

I created a new TLS cert for a subdomain for internal use. 10 minutes later Claude scraped the server. 7 minutes after that ChatGPT scraped it.
They're REALLY thirsty aren't they... only two random bots trying to steal credentials/auto-hack scanned it before them. Google/Grok didn't bother at all.
Then of the dozens of malicious scans I got in the first 24h, the worst one (over half the request log for that day just from one IP trying to steal credentials) came from a Google Cloud IP...
In case you're wondering, they find out about new web servers / TLS certificates from public Certificate Transparency logs.
@DrMcStrange @cstross That's the way to do it! My GP has, perhaps because his son has now taken over scheduling, gotten a lot better. I'm worried though because my GP is getting to the end of his career and he has been so good. Like you, I've put up with his scheduling because he has really gotten me through some rough stuff and that means cancer, too. (I'm okay!) I don't know what I'll do when he retires.

I finally saw one of those AI generated menu boards on a food truck today. Last week someone said the posts about them were actually fake rage bait stuff not a real life thing. I’m here to tell you the shit is as creepy and disgusting looking as the posts I’ve seen. I feel bad for the food truck vendor because I’m sure they are just trying to scrape out a living and whoever made it for them could have done way better with stock photography. Instead they are paying for these things which make me queasy just looking at it. #ai #rant
@hankg I have a rule. If a spot needs pictures to sell the food, I'm not buying it.

It was tight getting on this train. Not cos it was completely full. But cos of the sheer number of gormless morons who were packed in round the doorways. And down the aisles. I got a seat once I got enough people to shift there arses. But it was a faff.
